The most important fair on risk management arrives in Paris. The Protection Expo is an international exhibition that concerns the latest security measures. The latest products about safety in the workplace, fire fighting and fire prevention are introduced at this Exhibition.

More than 20,000 visitors gathered at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Among them, 13.000 visitors said that their main interest in visiting the fair was the professional and industrial risks sector.

One of the brands which Bunker collaborates with is Optex, whose articles have been exhibited at this fair. Optex presents a wide range of infrarred barriers. Among them the new SL series with 200QDP-BT, 320QDP-BT and 650QDP-BT. This SL series is the Optex latest bet for long-range IR barriers, ranging from 60 metres to 200 metres. It incorporates redesigned features and improvements, such as 4 beams and an IP65 certificate. It has renewed its viewfinder for the alignment of barriers, incorporating a 2x magnification, and a tamper both in the transmitter and in the receiver. A new and more stylized design has been developed to unify all models.

The SL-200QDP, SL-350QDP and SL-650QDP models arrive with a series of features which main goal is of simplifying the setting and alignment of the beams. Their purpose is, as well, to decrease hoaxes, by using the upper or lower beam selector, the beam power control selector or the dual modulation that mitigates those problems coming from potential interferences due to other signals (such as, solar radiation, electromagnetic fields, etc.).
