It provides connectivity to a 10/100Mbps IEEE standard twisted pair copper port over a 75ohm coaxial cable.  Varying data rates are supported depending on cable distance and quality.  The plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation with no electrical adjustment needed.  LED indicators are provided to show the operational status of the unit.</p>
<p>Most new systems are now HD or Megapixel IP cameras connected by CAT5/5e/6 cables or making use of existing fibers. The biggest challenge of upgrading older analog systems with coax cables to IP is the cabling. In most cases, it is cost prohibitive and often impractical to re-lay new cables. Using the existing coax to transmit HD and Megapixel IP cameras is the most economical choice. KBC have designed eCopper™ products to meet such constraints. The KBC EECN1-LN1-T-MX-B is a fully ruggedized Ethernet over coax transmitter and the EECN1-LN1-R-MX-B is a fully ruggedized Ethernet over coax receiver. This transmitter provides connectivity for one 10/100Mbps IEEE standard twisted pair copper port over a 75ohm coaxial cable. Varying data rates are supported depending on cable distance and quality. <p>The EECF16-GN3-R is an Ethernet over Coax (EoC) receiver with 16 coax ports with Power Over Coax (PoC) and 3*10/100/1000M Ethernet ports. This receiver provides connectivity up to 16 units PoC/PoE version EECF1-LS1-T-MN-B transmitter. Power is supplied to the transmitter through the coaxial cable. Varying data rates are supported depending on cable distance and quality. This product also provides PoC management which allows the operator to remotely switch power on or off to any of the coax channels. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation with no electrical adjustment needed.LED indicators are provided to show the operational status of the unit clearly. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>The KBC eCopper™</strong> line of products offer a cost-effective way to connect the latest IP cameras using existing coax or copper (UTP) wiring to a remote monitoring station. In addition to saving costs and time from cabling infrastructure upgrades to CAT5/5e/6, eCopper™ powers both its transmitter and remote cameras, eliminating the need for any additional power source at the camera site. eCopper™ also extends the IP camera cable run distance from 100 to 300 meters, making it ideal for upgrading analog to IP cameras and other systems in large corporate buildings, retail, casinos, banks, prisons, stadiums and other applications.<br />
The KBC EECF1-LS1-T-IN-B is a fully ruggedized Ethernet over coax transmitter. This transmitter provides connectivity for one 10/100Mbps IEEE standard twisted-pair copper port over a 75ohm coaxial cable. Power is supplied from one of the headend Receivers, EECF16-GN3-R, EECF8-GN3-R, EECF4-DN1-R, or EECF1-LN1 –R Ethernet over coax receivers through the coaxial cable by Power over Coax (PoC) technology. This transmitter provides PoE/PoE+ support. Varying data rates are supported depending on cable distance and quality. The plugand-play design ensures ease of installation with no electrical adjustment needed. LED indicators are provided to show the operational status of the unit.<br />
The Ethernet and coax ports of the transmitter includes flying cables. Its size is suited for fitting inside camera housing and where space is minimal.</p>
