CAV-W is a perimeter lamp tower mainly used in residential areas, a garden lamp style tower, where dual-beam IR photo detectors can be easily hidden. CAV Garden Guard perimeter lamp tower has a discreet design which perfectly fits into any yard or garden without losing its aesthetic value, while at the same time it provides perimeter security and light to the area. CAV-W is an excellent alternative in order to protect immediate perimeter of a building with a simple wall installation. CAV-W prevents gutters, drains and other obstacles, thus allowing protection of all the entrances in the façade. Two CAV-W units are supplied per each CAV-W reference.

The entire Garden Guard infrared perimeter tower range is perfectly coordinated both aesthetically and functionally, that is to say, CAV-W security tower can be used with CAV-W, or even with MALTA, CAV infrared towers and even with the industrial range if required so (PT, MB and MB-W infrared towers).

Features:

CAV-W is an infrared tower, belonging to the Garden Guard family, destined to be fixed onto the ground (see CAV and MALTA model for floor installation).

CAV-W Garden Guard infrared tower for photoelectric sensors with two beams – dimensions:

• IR tower’s external pole: 10 cm (3.94”).
• IR tower’s upper part: 25 cm (9.84”).

Material composing CAV-W Garden Guard photoelectric tower:

• Aluminum profile which acts as the central part of the CAV-W infrared tower.
• Black polycarbonate tube with UV treatment. It has two main functions: on one hand, it covers the structure by hiding at the same time photoelectric sensors’ localization, orientation and height and on the other hand, it protects these sensors from vandal acts.
• Reinforced ABS base fixing support where the security tower’s aluminium profile and polycarbonate profile are fixed.
• CAV upper body (grille type) made of black polycarbonate.
• Ceramic socket for E27 bulb fixing on the top of the infrared garden lamp.

Each CAV-W Garden Guard infrared tower’s approximate weight: 4 kg. CAV-W reference includes two CAV-W units.

Given that Bunker manufactures a wide range of perimeter products for solely residential areas, such as Garden Guard (MALTA, CAV and CAV-W), we refer to the MB-W infrared tower with the adjective “industrial”, even though in real situations both MB IR towers (180º) and PT (360º) security towers are installed very often in residential areas and they integrate perfectly their stylish design in the environment.

Features:
All the MB-W single-sided infrared tower models (180º) for perimeter security protection include the following components:

• Black polycarbonate profile which allows the infrared rays, emitted by the photoelectric beam, to go through.
• Black anodized aluminium profile which forms part of the IR tower structure, curved on the rear side.
• Two anti-sabotage tampers to be fixed on the upper side of the IR tower and consequently avoid a possible manipulation of the perimeter security system by putting out of order a photoelectric sensor or even by cancelling an infrared photo beam.
• Installation kit: it is composed of stainless screws, used to fix an infrared tower to the wall, to fix infrared photo beams to the main part of the security tower, etc.

MB-W perimeter security infrared tower for wall use is provided with only one hole on the lower side of the IR tower, the installer must make another in order to be able to fix the infrared tower to the wall. The reason why is that this way the perimeter security installer can choose where in the perimeter tower to make the hole to consequently avoid the possibility the hole is seen in case the security tower is not 100% fixed to the wall.

As a manufacturer, Bunker gives the possibility to adapt infrared tower’s height in case none of our 180º MB-W infrared tower references covers your perimeter security system requirements.
